Right of withdrawal

A consumer is a natural person who enters into a legal transaction predominantly for purposes outside their trade, business or profession.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the date on which the contract was concluded.

Exercising the right of withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us by means of a clear statement of your decision to withdraw from the contract.

You may submit your withdrawal, for example, by e-mail or letter.

You may use the model withdrawal form below, but its use is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your statement exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund payments received from you in connection with the contract without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the date on which we receive your withdrawal statement, except to the extent that payment for services already provided is due under applicable law.

We generally use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise.

We do not charge you additional fees for the refund.

Services already provided during the withdrawal period

If you expressly requested that we begin providing the service before the withdrawal period expires and the statutory requirements for proportionate payment are met, you must pay a reasonable amount for services already provided up to the time at which you inform us of your withdrawal.

The calculation is generally based on the total price agreed in the contract and the proportion of the service already performed.

A provision contained in general terms and conditions alone does not replace the statutory requirements for such proportionate payment.

Expiry of the withdrawal right following full performance

For a contract for paid services, the withdrawal right may expire before the fourteen-day withdrawal period ends where the service has been fully performed and the consumer has provided the declarations required by applicable law.

The statutory requirements remain decisive.

Cancellation of subscriptions

Withdrawal and cancellation are different legal mechanisms.

Withdrawal refers primarily to a consumer’s statutory right during the applicable withdrawal period.

Cancellation terminates an ongoing subscription in accordance with the contractual cancellation rules.

Monthly subscriptions

A monthly subscription may be cancelled at any time with effect at the end of the current monthly billing period.

3-month plans

During the initial fixed three-month contractual term, a plan may ordinarily be cancelled for the end of that initial term.

After the initial term, the contract continues for an indefinite period and may be cancelled at any time with one month’s notice.

Billing may continue every three months in advance.

Where the contract ends after the initial term during an already prepaid three-month billing period, the portion of the prepaid amount attributable to the period after the effective contract end date will be refunded proportionately.

Alternatively, you may use Manage Subscription on metrik.social to access the Stripe Customer Portal and manage or cancel your subscription there.

The right to terminate for good cause remains unaffected.
